TxTag
TxTag is the fastest, most convenient way to travel on toll roads throughout Texas. It’s a state-of-the-art electronic sticker that goes on the inside of a driver’s windshield behind the rearview mirror and is slightly smaller than a vehicle registration or inspection sticker. Devices above the toll lanes read an electronic signal from the microchip in the tag and deduct the correct toll automatically from a prepaid account. All a driver needs to do is keep enough money in his or her account to cover the cost of tolls.
And, with a payment method called AutoPay, drivers never have to wonder if there is enough money in their toll accounts. AutoPay links the driver’s TxTag account to a credit card to automatically add money when the TxTag account drops to a pre-set low balance amount.
